"The Longleaf Arts & Crafts Guild celebrates and brings together independent crafts people and artists for the purpose of marketing, conservation, and education."
North Carolina has a rich arts and crafts history. For hundreds of years, arts and crafts guilds have showcased items of skill and beauty from local craftspeople. The art of creating remains strong in our local craftspeople today and the purpose of the Longleaf Arts & Crafts Guild is to celebrate the work of artisans from Southeastern North Carolina. The work on display and for sale includes many media: wood working, fused glass, textiles, photography, painting and watercolor are just a few. The Gallery opened November 11, 2007 in the beautifully restored Wallace Train Depot. Our hours are Thursday and Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Please stop in to experience the beauty of North Carolina arts and crafts.
